Edward Young

Ed, a Massachusetts native, has been in the insurance business for 12 years. Most of which has been spent exclusively with long term care insurance. As a long term care insurance specialist, Ed has been recognized as one of the top agents in Massachusetts by the American Association for Long Term Care insurance. His depth of knowledge and care for his clients in finding solutions for their long term care needs truly sets him apart.

Having dealt with long term care in his own family, Ed has committed himself to helping others plan for their future and retirement. “Not only will planning for long term care protect one’s assets, but it will make sure that the burden of care-giving doesn’t fall on the rest of the family. It truly gives you peace of mind, when you need it most.” Additionally, Ed has extensive experience in the corporate LTC marketplace and has implemented many worksite cases.

As an active member in his community, Ed serves on several committees and boards, which includes serving as Director of the Ed Young Community Foundation. His foundation provides gifts and grants to the community along with providing scholarships to students who are furthering their education. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Middle Tennessee State University, where he helped the blue raiders win 3 consecutive conference championships for the men’s division I tennis team. He now plays competitive golf and can be seen in many Massachusetts or New England amateur events.

Ed lives in Rockport, MA with his wife Nancy and two kids, Adrian and Lina. They can often be found walking with their yellow lab, Palmer.
