Denise Michaud

Denise is an independent insurance broker, providing long-term care insurance planning for the past 28 years.  She brings a breadth of experience and expertise to all her clients, which includes: 

·      Developed the first continuing education course that gives agents a process for determining suitable long term care insurance recommendations.

·      Advised the California Senate Sub-Committee on Aging and Long-Term Care on SB 953, relating to programs for the health and welfare of senior citizens.

·      Serving on the Agent Advisory Group for the California Partnership for Long-Term Care for 25 years.

Denise has served on the Board of the San Francisco Village, as Treasurer.  She has been a guest speaker at the Commonwealth Club of California, guest lecturer for students preparing for their CFP certification at UC Berkeley, and UCSC, Silicon Valley, and provides tutorials for several care management groups, in the Bay Area.

Denise’s most important personal experience came as a teenager, caring for her Grandmother who had Alzheimer’s.

She works with individuals, couples, executives, and employer groups.
