Rhonda Vry-Bills’ primary focus is to save one family at a time from the single, largest unprotected liability our nation faces, A Long-Term Care Event. I am passionate about saving the family members from this physical, emotional, and financial burden that is placed on the family members.
Rhonda grew up in rural Iowa, the daughter of a farmer and a geriatric nurse who retired from the Iowa Veterans Home. Nursing shortages, quality of care, patient to staff ratio, spending down assets and the consequences all of these had on the family members were conversations Rhonda grew up around the dinner table.
Since 1996, Rhonda has dedicated herself to the long-term care insurance industry. She started her career at KVI, now Marsh McLennan, in the telesales department educating members of national associations on Medicare, Medicaid and Long-Term Care planning.During her 6 years at KVI, Rhonda was licensed in 50 states, taught LOMA (Life Office Management Association) classes and was an officer and member of Toastmasters International.
In 2002, Rhonda left corporate America and started Long Term Care Strategies, Inc. Rhonda has a strategic alliance with professionals (Health Insurance Agents, Life Insurance Agents, Financial Planners, Employer Brokers, CPA’s, Estate Planning Attorney’s, Banks and Credit Unions). Partnering with other professionals that need Rhonda’s area of expertise, allows her to focus on what she does best, Long- Term Care Planning.
Today, Rhonda is a sought after public speaker and has addressed numerous professional & business organizations, employer groups, and insurance agents on the significance of Long Term Care planning. Rhonda was named #10 agent in the nation in 2007 and repeatedly #1 in the State of Iowa, along with #1 in multi- life sales.
