Lori started her company, Envision Benefit Specialists, in January of 2006. Prior to that, she worked with a financial planning practice in Chicago for 9+ years and has been in the insurance arena for 21 years.

From the onset, Envision Benefits offered strategic employee benefit planning to small companies, from insurance plan design to implementation, focusing on tech and other service related businesses. These services encompassed group health, life and disability insurance, ancillary benefits, and work-site long term care insurance.

While Lori still manages employee benefit plans, her focus has moved on to include Medicare and Long Term Care planning, for individuals and groups. She is a member of the Alpha and South Suburban Chapters of Illinois Continuity of Care, Association of Senior Service Providers, National Care Planning Council, and a member of the NAHU LTC Advisory Committee.

Lori has the Certification for Long Term Care (CLTC) and works with Long-Term Care Planning Consultants, conducting onsite informational meetings across the country. She also does benefit consulting work for national companies, large union groups, and state municipalities - conducting annual employee enrollment meetings, group presentations and webinars. Lori enjoys educating employees and employers to help them make smart insurance choices and informing groups about healthcare benefit trends and legislative updates.

Like many other LTCGP partners, Lori has personally witnessed the benefits of planning for a life changing health event with a LTC policy. Her father has a LTC insurance policy and can still live independently with MS because he has caregiving options and the funds to pay for that care. Working with many clients and employee groups, Lori understands the physical, emotional, and financial consequences of caregiving and and the importance of having a plan in place.
