– Linda Jahnke

Jahnke Insurance LOGO- jpeg Linda Jahnke has been a long term care insurance specialist for over 27 years. After graduating from the University of Iowa, she began her career working in a facility which provided care for residents suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Seeing the need to plan for care expenses, Linda quickly built a career as an insurance broker. During the early years in her practice, she volunteered for seven years as an Ombudsman for care facilities with the Area Agency on Aging.

From 2010 to 2013 Linda was the Vice President for LTC Sales with Capitas Financial. At Capitas, she worked with a variety of financial planning firms and professionals who sought her advice on planning options and claims assistance.

In October 2013 Linda founded Jahnke Consulting and Long Term Care Alliance. The mission of Jahnke Consulting is to educate families and the professional community on the importance of planning for long term care expenses and claims advocacy. Upon obtaining a certificate for patient advocacy through the Professional Patient Advocate Institute, Linda began to accept clients who need her expertise to guide them through their long term care claim. Whether it is collecting documentation, recommending vetted care providers in accordance with policy definitions, or navigating the maze of requirements, Linda has a 100% success rate with her clients who utilize her services at the point of claim. Her passion is to advocate on behalf of her clients with dignified and personal service.

Recently, Linda was elected to serve as a board member for the Glenner Memory Care Centers in San Diego. In 2014 she was invited to speak at the conference for the America Association of Long Term Care Insurance. Her topic was the urgent need for advocacy with LTCi clients at the point of claim. Linda currently lives in Poway with her husband. They have four children and a spoiled golden retriever.
